Dry Stone Masonry is the ancient technique of building with stone without the use of mortar. Stones are selected, shaped and placed in a way that they are interlocked. The result is a solid structure that is also aesthetically organic. The trade and craft I’ve learned and continue to learn, comes from the Dry Stone Walling Association of the UK or DSWA.
Dry stone walls, paths and patios are great ways to enhance your landscape, help with erosion problems and bring a timeless feel to your property.
Natural Gardening simply put is gardening with sustainable practices. The intention is to work with the environment and not against it. Avoiding chemicals, using native plants and being a conscious steward to pre-existing gardens are all part of the process.
Gardens are not only a place of peace and solace for humans, but they provide sustenance for wildlife. My goal is to create artistic ecosystems that inspire a calm mind and are in tune with Nature.
I offer maintenance, installation and design. No lawns :)
